In this case only the first generation ps4 controller ( meaning the ones with NO light bar on touchpad) have support and the icons change to ps4 icons. Microsoft DOES NOT what game gets to use xinput the DEVELOPERS choose what gamepads to support. For years direct input was done poorly so microsoft decided to create xinput a way easier way to make a controller (in this case the xbox controllers) work perfectly with pc games as if it were on console itself, once the ps4 controller came out sony decided to use direct input and make it extremely easy to use which is why most new games that come out have ps4 controller. PEOPLE!!!! STOP SAYING MICROSOFT ONLY ALLOWS THEIR CONTROLLER ON PC.
